Scots have been warned of potential travel disruption as strong winds are set to batter the country.
The Met Office has issued a yellow wind warning for gusts reaching up to 70mph on Thursday, November 24. The forecaster says the southwest of Scotland is to be the worst affected.
People have been told to expect delays when using public transport as the heavy gusts could affect timetables. Drivers should also take extra care if operating high-sided vehicles on any exposed bridges as they could also be held up.
