Furthermore, other areas in close proximity to Tampa Bay have also experienced intense wind gusts. The greater Tampa area recorded gusts of up to 89 mph, while Sarasota reported gusts reaching 93 mph. Additionally, a gust of 97 mph was documented in the city of Venice.
