Wimbledon viewers have raised their concerns after Prince George made his first appearance at the historic sporting event. It comes after the eight-year-old was spotted wearing a suit and tie in the 28C heat.
The eldest son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge watched Nick Kyrgios battle Novak Djokovic for the Wimbledon title. Prince George attended the match with his parents at lunchtime on Sunday (July 10).
Birmingham Live reports that Kate Middleton wore a navy and white polka dot dress and Prince William wore a light grey suit. Royal fans were excited by their appearance but many questioned if the choice of outfit was right for Prince George.

Prince George wore a navy suit and tie but some fans feared for his health due to the hot temperatures. “Poor little Prince George at Wimbledon for the men’s singles final wearing a jacket and tie! 30C temperatures!” one wrote.
“With heat warnings in place for all, esp kids and elderly – why are @KensingtonRoyal trotting out George donned in suit, shirt and tie @Wimbledon?” a second asked.
A third commented: “Feel a bit sorry for Prince George having to sit through the Wimbledon men's singles final. It could go on for hours and in this heat too!!!” It was Djokovic who came out on top on Centre Court, fighting back from losing the first set to beat Kyrgios and win a fourth consecutive men's singles Wimbledon title.
