Wimbledon 2022 officially gets underway today following the weekend’s qualifying rounds and fans will be preparing to flock to the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in the capital in full-capacity numbers for the first time since 2019, prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.
And as a result, ticket sales have been through the roof for the third Grand Slam of the year, but there are still ways to gain your access to the tournament over the next two weeks.
Here is all you need to know about how to get last minute tickets for Wimbledon 2022, including how much they cost and all the key dates for your diary.
When is Wimbledon 2022?
The main draw matches for the 2022 Wimbledon Championships will officially take place from Monday, June 27 to Sunday, July 10 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Wimbledon, London.
The tournament will be televised every day on BBC One and BBC Two, while it can also be streamed via BBC iPlayer, BBC Sport website and the BBC Red Button services.
Play will begin from 11am on outside courts, 1pm on No.1 Court and 1.30pm on Centre Court. An order of play will be released daily for the following day, while fans should also be prepared for games to be called off due to severe weather conditions.

How to get last minute Wimbledon tickets
Unlike previous years, there has been no Wimbledon Public Ballot in 2022, but guests who were successful in the 2020 Wimbledon Public Ballot and took up their ticket offer will be offered the same day and court for 2022.
However, if you are after last minute tickets, then spectators will once again be able to queue for tickets for same day events, after the queue was closed last year due to Covid restrictions. All public tickets will be available to purchase in 2022, but they will be limited to one pair per household.
Furthermore, ticket resale for same-day events will also return in 2022, with the tickets being distributed on the official Wimbledon app. This can be accessed on the app stores for both iOS and Android devices.
