Wimbledon Championships sees record 550,000 fan attendance

  • Wimbledon achieved record attendance and nearly 5 billion social media impressions this year, despite taking place concurrently with the men's football World Cup.
  • A cumulative 550,151 fans attended the tournament over the fortnight, slightly exceeding last year's figures, with daily attendance records broken on three separate days.
  • Organisers credited the bumper figures to the first rain-free Wimbledon since 2019 and the unexpected semi-final run of British wildcard Arthur Fery.
  • The tournament demonstrated strong commercial appeal, including record hat sales and ESPN reporting its second-most-viewed Wimbledon championships of all time.
  • The all-Czech women's singles final between Linda Noskova and Karolina Muchova proved particularly popular in the Czech Republic, attracting a 38.5 per cent audience share.
