It’s day five of Wimbledon 2025, and the crowd were treated to an epic as Emma Raducanu and Aryna Sabalenka battled for a place in teh fourth round in an instant prime-time classic at the All England Club.
It was the top seed and three-time grand slam champion Sabalenka who came out on top at the end of a two-hour marathon, winning 7-6(8-6), 6-4. Before that, on the same court, Carlos Alcaraz continued his bid for a third straight title in SW19 by battling past Jan-Lennard Struff 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
