William Saliba is set to discuss his future on the French television programme Telefoot.
Saliba was awarded the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Season award over the weekend following a stellar 2021/22 campaign in France. The 21-year-old has played nearly every minute of the league season for Les Olympiens, keeping 13 clean sheets over 36 appearances. He helped the side finish second in Ligue 1.
The Frenchman's displays earned him a senior national team call-up, too, making two appearances for Les Bleus back in March and included in the latest squad for UEFA Nations League fixtures. It's no small feat, with the loan move working wonders for his progression.
Amidst his impressive form, however, there's still uncertainty over his future. football.london reported last month that the plan was for the Gunners to open preliminary talks regarding a new contract towards the end of his loan spell, but Saliba once again reiterated that he's unsure about where his future lies.

"It's an honour, a source of pride. I dedicate this trophy to my teammates, my club and the supporters,' he said at Sunday's awards ceremony in Paris," as cited by the Daily Mail. "Did I play my last match with OM? I don't know. The future will tell us. The most important thing is to confirm this good season by qualifying for the Champions League. Afterwards, we'll see."
Now, as confirmed by Telefoot on Twitter, the defender is set to undergo an interview with Julien Maynard, where his future is likely to be a hot topic of discussion.

Nevertheless, Mikel Arteta has insisted that he'll return to Arsenal and be part of the squad next season. Speaking to RMC Sport, he said: "William Saliba has to come back. He has the experience to be competitive with us. We sent him to Marseille for his growth.
"William wanted to be a regular starter, as you know, but now we want him back at Arsenal." It sends a clear message back to Saliba after he recently claimed that he was "hurt" by being dropped to the youth team in his time at the club, with a demand for more first-team action.
Given the task at hand this summer, it could also save the Spaniard millions in trying to find another defender in the market.
