A new contract for William Saliba should be right at the top of Arsenal's list of priorities between now and the end of the season.
Despite sealing a £27m transfer in the summer of 2019, it has taken three years and a bunch of loan spells in France for the defender to kick-start his career in north London. With that said, early signs suggest it has been well worth the wait as his patience and a standout campaign with Marseille last term have been rewarded.
Ever present in the Premier League so far this season, Saliba has been one of Arsenal's standout players as they sit top of the table after nine games. But each impressive performance exposes a fear that supporters are all too familiar with - him potentially leaving for free in the very near future.
