William Levy Speaks Out After Separation from Elizabeth Gutiérrez: "Lawsuits Might Be Coming"

In Spanish

For the first time since the scandal surrounding his separation from Elizabeth Gutiérrez began, William Levy has broken his silence—and even issued warnings. The Cuban actor is outraged and furious about the accusations leveled against him, including a police call to his Miami home.

Currently in Spain filming a series called 'Arcadia' alongside Spanish actress Paula Echeverría (Velvet) and Mexican telenovela star Michelle Renaud, Levy took a break to respond to the allegations in an exclusive interview with El Gordo y La Flaca. It was clear from the interview that Levy is deeply upset.

William Levy's Warnings

"Many lies have been told about me, and serious accusations have been made. I can tolerate a lot, but when it comes to defamation, that's something I cannot let slide. Eventually, those responsible will have to pay for it," Levy said sternly, referring to rumors accusing him of abuse and infidelity during his relationship.

His top priority, he emphasized, has always been to protect his children, Christopher and Kailey, from the media storm that has accompanied his separation. He repeated this several times throughout the interview. However, Levy pointed out that the false accusations have gone too far, which is why he is considering taking legal action.

"We are all suffering, but the ones who suffer the most are my children. I've tried to stay silent for their sake, but there comes a point where I can no longer allow this defamation to continue," he explained. Levy stressed that, while he has made mistakes like any human being, he will not tolerate anyone questioning his role as a father.

What Led William Levy to End His Relationship

The complicated relationship between the two actors lasted 20 years, starting when they met on the Telemundo reality show 'Protagonistas de Novela' and continuing until early 2024. During the interview, Levy also discussed the reasons behind the end of his relationship with Elizabeth, revealing that over the years, he felt something important was missing from the partnership.

"A woman isn't just there to receive; a man also needs to receive things that aren't material, like love, respect, and admiration. And that was something I lacked for many years," the actor confessed, offering a personal glimpse into his relationship with the mother of his children.

Levy appeared visibly affected while discussing the breakup and how he has tried to remain calm in the face of adversity, mainly for the sake of his children, Topher and Kailey. However, he made it clear that silence isn't always the best option, especially when it comes to defending his honor and his relationship with his children. "My kids are the most important thing to me, and all I want is for them to be okay," he added.

William Levy's New Projects

Despite the personal drama, William Levy remains focused on his professional career. He is currently in Europe working on international projects. The actor described this phase of his life as one of the most significant in his career, though he admitted that the personal challenges have taken a toll on his emotional well-being. "I've had the opportunity to work on major projects, but my mind is always with my children," he stated.

Levy spent September in Italy, acting in 'Tradita,' one of the most important projects of his recent career, filming a movie entirely in Italian. This was a unique and challenging experience for the Cuban actor, who expressed his excitement about working with a top-tier team in Italian cinema. The cast includes Fernando Lindez, Manuela Arcuri, Giancarlo Giannini, Àngela Molina, Monica Guerritore, and Raffaella Di Caprio, with whom Levy was romantically linked.

Currently, Levy is in Tenerife, working on 'Arcadia,' a series set in the future. The actor also revealed that he is involved as a producer in his projects and confirmed that he will be working with his daughter in 2025.
