William Cooper's dreams of Indigenous representation in Parliament inch closer

The man leading the charge on enshrining a First Nations voice in the constitution says he's often inspired by the work of Indigenous rights pioneer William Cooper.

Cooper, a Yorta Yorta man who was born around 1860 near the junction of the Murray and Goulburn rivers in Victoria, played pivotal roles in the Cummeragunja Walk Off and founded the Australian Aborigines' League.
