William always there for Harry due to 'unbreakable tie', claims royal expert

Prince William and Prince Harry will reunite thanks to an "unbreakable tie" between the two brothers, a royal expert has claimed.

Harry, 37, stepped back from royal duties and moved to the United States in 2020.

The Duke of Sussex sent shockwaves through the Royal Family when he and wife Meghan Markle sat down for a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

He has since returned to the UK for both Prince Philip's funeral and to unveil a statue in honour of Princess Diana amid claims of a rift with William.

Harry is due to publish his memoir later this year - a book which will reportedly “shake the monarchy to the core”.

But despite reports of tension between William, 39, and Harry, one royal expert claims the brothers will eventually reunite.

PA royal correspondent Alan Jones told True Royalty's The Royal Beat: "I think William has still got a lot of time for Harry. He's his little brother at the end of the day.

"Even though they haven't seen eye to eye, I think there is still that brotherly bond, their mother's death has created this unbreakable tie between them.

"At the end of the day, he will always put his arm around him, whatever he said about the family."

William was just 15, and Harry, 12, when Diana died in a car crash in Paris in August 1997.

They were staying at Balmoral with Prince Charles, the Queen and other members of the Royal Family on the night their mum died.

There was a wave of collective public mourning for Diana and her funeral was watched by an estimated 2.5 billion people worldwide.

Harry has since gone on to speak about the horror of the funeral procession and said that no child should have been made to walk behind their mother’s coffin in public.

It comes after one royal expert claimed Prince Harry's rift with William 'can't be healed' as publication of his memoir looms.

Royal author Richard Fitzwilliams told the ToDiForDaily's podcast he said: "In my view, both brothers were inseparable.

"It's in no doubt that one of the tragedies is that they have taken very different roads.

"The problem is what is going to be in that book."
