AUGUSTA, Ga. — If you can’t watch Tiger Woods during the third round of the 2023 Masters on Saturday afternoon, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
The 15-time major champion returned to Augusta National Golf Club this week with a pair of records on his mind, and he was able to achieve one of them. While Woods’ quest for a record-tying sixth green jacket took a hit on Thursday after a 2-over 74 in the opening round, his 1-over 73 in the second round was just enough to make the cut on the number and tie Gary Player and Fred Couples for the most consecutive made cuts in Masters history.
Woods, 47, has never missed the cut at the Masters as a professional since his debut in 1997 (he was low amateur in 1995 and missed the cut in 1996 as an amateur).
Woods will tee it up in the third round with Thomas Pieters and Sungjae Im at 1:06 p.m. ET off the 10th tee. Follow every shot Woods’ Saturday afternoon round below with shot-by-shot updates from Augusta National.

Hole 10 - Par 4: Camellia
And we’re off again! Found the fairway down the left side off the tee with driver but his approach was a club short (or he just mishit it because it’s cold and he’s uncomfortable, who’s to say?).
He hit hit a good pitch that checked up inside eight feet from the hole due to the wet conditions, but his par putt took an Olympic-level dive across the hole to set up the two-putt bogey. Tough start. Could be a long day, folks.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over through 1 (4 over for the tournament).
Hole 11 - Par 4: White Dogwood
Grip it. Rip it. Bomb it. Bop it. A rare 300 yard drive in the wet and cold conditions here from Tiger goes 318 yards down the right side. Water left, hole location right and Tiger dropped this one right in the middle. Pin-high about 25 feet away for his first look at birdie of the day.
Nope. Misses this one left but he does well to clean up for par and avoids another dropped shot.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over through 2 (4 over for the tournament).
Hole 12 - Par 3: Golden Bell
Tiger began the day here at No. 12 to finish his second round and went flag hunting. Not so much here.
The pin is located in the middle of the green and this one missed long and left. He did well to control his speed with this chip and lands just on the green and lets it release past the hole, leaving just three feet to clean up for par.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over through 3 (4 over for the tournament).
Hole 13 - Par 5: Azalea
The Big Cat made a good swing at this one and finds the left side of the fairway at the redesigned par-5 13th. Does well to lay this one up down the hill and his pitch from there put on the emergency brake and stopped on a dime after a brief roll out. Absolute freeze frame shot.
We’ll call this putt for birdie the Rodney Dangerfield, didn’t give it enough respect. Cleans up for par as the rain picks up and swims on over to the 14th.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over through 4 (4 over for the tournament).
Hole 14 - Par 4: Chinese Fir
FORE LEFT! Dead left. This wasn’t even close to the fairway. From the rough down the left side Tiger tried to take this one up high over the trees but didn’t get back to the fairway and is still in the rough. A low bar has been set when the patrons cheer for a layup.
He hit a low hook around a tree and ran it up on the green, but didn’t get it over a slope and his ball ran off the green. If you’re keeping track at home, he’ll need to chip in for par. Did well to knock this one towards the back pin but it stayed left, leaving around 10 feet for yet another dropped shot, if not two. Makes the putt and avoids the double damage.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 2 over through 5 (5 over for the tournament).
Hole 15 - Par 5: Firethorn
This drive was destined for the rough but looks like he hit a sprinkler head which slowed down its momentum. He’s still in the fairway and from there he hit a lay up in front of the pond guarding the green, but he didn’t avoid the water for long. His third found the drink, took his penalty drop and then with his fifth he finally found the green, a little long and leaving a testy 10 footer just to make bogey once again. Unlike the 14th, he wasn’t so lucky and that’s a double. The struggle is real for Tiger right now and it’s not going to get any easier.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 4 over through 6 (7 over for the tournament).
Hole 16 - Par 3: Redbud
Maybe an iron shot can jumpstart some confidence and get this round going ahead of the turn back to the first nine. Splish splash Tiger took a bath again, this time on No. 16. As if it wasn’t wet enough already. From the drop zone to the back-right hole location Tiger lands it 10-15 feet short and ripped it back with some spin. That’ll be a lengthy putt for bogey and this could easily be back to back doubles. Bogey putt came up a few feet short and he makes his second double in as many holes.
This is what happens when you don’t play much tournament golf and then come to the Masters with a beat up body and play in inclement weather. Tiger’s round has been a recipe for disaster and it’s a five-course meal.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 6 over through 7 (9 over for the tournament).
Hole 17 - Par 4: Nandina
Driver here for Tiger and this one lands in the short grass, think it’s called the fairway? Back middle hole location means he’s got plenty of green to work with, but his iron play has been a struggle all week, especially today. Despite the rain Tiger went to the beach here with his approach and found the bunker guarding the front of the green.
Before he could splash out of the sand the horn was blown and due to inclement weather conditions the third round was suspended for the rest of the day as of 3:15 p.m. ET.
