If you've used any streaming service, then it's probably Netflix; it's the most popular video platform in the world. It's no wonder, then, that people are wondering whether the many legions of Cyber Monday streaming deals includes a discount on a Netflix subscription.
Unfortunately, while Netflix is hosting a massive sale, it's not on subscription fees. We've got more information on that below.
The word 'Netflix' is synonymous with streaming. The platform has nearly 250 million subscribers around the world, more than any other platform, and all of them have been faced with continued price hikes (including one earlier in 2023).
Cyber Monday is usually a great time to save money on everything, including streaming service deals, so is that the case for Netflix too?
Well, not on a subscription to the service, though Netflix is hosting a different kind of sale, which will appeal to fans of the streaming service and its many Originals.
Is there currently a Cyber Monday Netflix deal?
If you're talking about a Netflix subscription, then we're sorry to say that there's no Cyber Monday deal within the streaming service. New or returning subscribers will have to sign up at the usual price.
In the last year, Netflix has rolled out its affordable ad-enabled tier around the world, so you can actually sign up for less money than was the case a year ago. But it's not a deal, per se.
However Netflix is hosting a different kind of Cyber Monday deal:

Netflix does have deals, because its online merch store is chock-full of discounts. In fact, 850 different items it offers are reduced! As far as we can tell, that's its entire warehouse.

What were the chances of a Netflix Cyber Monday deal?
Every streaming service Cyber Monday deal was also a Black Friday deal, and if Netflix didn't have one of those, it almost definitely wasn't going to roll out a Cyber Monday one.
In fact, Netflix is one of the streaming services that never offers reductions on the cost of a subscription (beyond the ad tier), so a deal was always unlikely.
While the recent Netflix price hikes make the prospect of a Cyber Monday deal tantalizing, we're not going to hold our breath over it here at What to Watch's office, and you shouldn't.
