7Mesh is renowned for producing some of the best mountain bike apparel around. It has consistently delivered the highest quality cycling clothing, that can be compared in performance to some of the best technical outdoor gear. We have tested numerous products from the Canadian brand's impressive range and always scored its products well in reviews. The 7Mesh Chilco Anorak and the 7Mesh Cache Anorak, for example, delivered the goods in the worst conditions.
With Spring finally feeling like it's about to land, 7Mesh has launched new products just in time for the warmer and longer days that are hopefully just around the corner. The best mountain bike pants are a must-have for all mountain bikers and 7Mesh has added to its MTB pants range that includes our best waterproof pant winner – the 7Mesh Thunder Pant with its now completely updated Glidepath Pant.
7Mesh says the Glidepath Pant is now the benchmark for comfort and performance in a trail pant. They feature a light four-way stretch, DWR (Durable water-repellent) coated fabric, and a new trim shape. Elsewhere there is an updated set-and-forget belt system, increased knee articulation, double-snap zip fly, and an updated cuffed hem.
The Glidepath pants are claimed to have a go-everywhere performance and are equally at home on multi-day backcountry trips or storming sessions at the bike park, capable of accommodating the best mountain bike knee pads too. The Glidepath pants are priced at $180 / £160 / €180.
Also new for the Spring is the new Horizon Base Layer, ideal for the unpredictable spring weather. The best MTB base layers are always a perfect foundation in a layering clothing system and the Horizon is no different with what they say is a piece that gives enhanced breathable protection and comfort. Made in an athletic fit, long-sleeved shape, it can be paired with the full range of 7Mesh jerseys and thermals. Prices for the Horizon are still TBC.
Both new items and selected items in the 7Mesh range also feature a selection of spring-inspired colorways including deep woods-inspired stone, mist, and alpine hues and bright pops of gold and purple.
7Mesh is also committed to reducing its environmental footprint, and they say that all the new Spring 2024 fabrics used in its new 2024 items are PFAS and PFC free and Bluesign and Oeko-Tex100 certified.
