Will Smith has hit back at Rebel Wilson after she joked about his marriage and Jada Pinkett Smith's "boyfriends".
The 53-year-old Hollywood actor looked to put the record straight during an appearance CBS Sunday Morning when speaking to Gayle King after he won Leading Actor for his role in King Richard at the Critics’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
The I Am Legend star insisted there has "never been infidelity" in his marriage after Rebel hit hard and low with her jibe.
The Australian actress said about Will's win: "I thought his best performance over the past year was being OK with all his wife’s boyfriends."
Will was quick to shut down continued speculation about his marriage, telling Gayle: "Never. There’s never been infidelity in our marriage.”
The actor continued to say that he and Jada, 50, "talk about everything” with each other "and we have never surprised one another with anything ever.”
Will, who shares son Jaden, 23, and daughter Willow, 21 with Jada, said that he doesn't mind that his marriage is once again a topic of conversation.
He continued: "I have decided that chatter about my life can be of a benefit to people.
"I think that chatter is the first stage to having a real conversation and being able to truly explore if some of the things in your heart are loving, or poisonous."
Will and Jada made headlines in June 2020 when August Alsina claimed that he was in a relationship with Jada, who later confirmed that they had been in an "entanglement".
During an episode of her Red Table Talk show, Jada admitted: "Yes, it was a relationship, absolutely. I was in a lot of pain, and I was very broken.
"Now in the process of that relationship, I definitely realised that you can’t find happiness outside of yourself."
Will and Jada, who were married in 1997, opened up about a brief separation in their marriage, with The Fresh Prince star joking: "I was done with your a**. I was done with you.”
Referring to their 2015 split, Will said: "Marriages have that, though. We decided that we were going to separate for a period of time, and you go figure out how to make yourself happy and I’ll try to figure out how to make myself happy.
"I really felt like we could be over."
