Priyanka Chopra, who has been on a signing spree, bagging lead roles in big-ticket Hollywood films and web series, also announced her Bollywood next 'Jee Le Zaraa', with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. The big project to be helmed by Farhan Akhtar was announced in 2021 but was later put on the back burner after Priyanka and Alia went the family way.
The film was back in the news when Farhan touched down in Rajasthan, to scout for locations. Rumours then stated that Shah Rukh Khan was being tapped to possibly feature in a cameo in the film.
