Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis suffered the most brutal sequence of his young career on Monday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins.
After his team came up with a red zone fumble against the Dolphins, Levis decided to give the ball right back as he threw it right into the grasp of Miami defensive tackle Zach Sieler.
Sieler ran it right back a couple of yards into the end zone for the Dolphins touchdown, but Levis tried to make a very ill-advised tackle and led with his arm to make contact. It ended with Sieler trucking Levis to the ground well after he was in the end zone for the score.
The first thing Levis probably heard on the sideline: do not make that tackle ever again.

Levis is still very young into his NFL career, but he learned a couple of very valuable lessons on this disastrous play for the Titans.
First, be careful where you throw the ball when you’re that close to your own end zone. Second, do not try to take on a defensive tackle while he’s powering into the end zone to score a touchdown.
Your rookie season is all about learning, and Levis absolutely got schooled by Sieler here.
