On May 21, it was announced that Kneecap member Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh was charged with a terrorism offence.

The charge – which was made under the Anglicised version of his name, Liam O’Hanna – alleges that the band member allegedly displayed a flag in support of the terrorist group Hezbollah at a gig in North London last November.
