Everton have had a much improved start to the season as they sit 13th in the table during the international break.
Last time out, they beat a struggling West Ham side 1-0 courtesy of a second-half goal from new signing Neal Maupay. It was their first win of the league campaign so far, but they also picked up a 0-0 draw against Merseyside rivals Liverpool at Goodison Park earlier this month.
Frank Lampard will hope his side can build on the victory when football resumes at the start of October, ready for an intense run before the season pauses for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in November. Everton face an away trip to Southampton, before they face Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle.

The Blues will look to move even further from the relegation zone and edge up the table in what will be a crucial period of the season. Just two of their six league matches in October will be at Goodison Park, against United and Crystal Palace.
