Higgins is expected to return to the lineup and play in Sunday’s game, head coach Zac Taylor said after Friday’s practice.
Higgins was a limited participant in practice all week. However, Higgins does not carry an injury designation for Week 11.
Higgins suffered his leg injury on Oct. 25, two days before the Bengals’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Earlier this year, Higgins missed the first two games of the season with a hamstring injury.
When Higgins has played, he’s been extremely effective as the No. 2 receiver behind Ja’Marr Chase. Higgins has 29 receptions for 341 yards and three touchdowns in five games.
Three of the Bengals’ four wins have come with Higgins in the lineup.
This will likely be Higgins’ final year in Cincinnati. The receiver is playing on his one-year franchise tag worth $21.8 million this season. He will be a free agent this upcoming offseason.

At 4-6, the Bengals are running out of opportunities to make up ground in the standings.
In the NFL Playoff Picture, the Bengals are 9th, two spots outside the playoffs. However, they are only one game behind the seventh-seeded Broncos.
A win Sunday night, and Cincinnati is back in the hunt for the postseason.
The Bengals (4-6) face the Chargers (6-3) on Sunday Night Football.
