Today the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge mark 11 years since their wedding.
The pair finally got married in a grand ceremony at Westminster Abbey after dating on and off for ten years.
Kate wowed in a stunning Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen bridal gown, which she wore alongside the Cartier Halo tiara, the Mirror reports.
Crowds lined the streets to mark the big day, going wild when the newlyweds shared two kisses on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Now 11 years on we revisit some of the memories of the Cambridge's wedding day. Let's see how many you can remember!
Kate shares emotional moment with dad
The night before her big day, Kate stayed at the Goring Hotel near to Buckingham Palace.
She made the journey in a car with her father Michael, who then walked her down the aisle.
As the pair were on the way to the wedding, the Express reports Kate had some emotional words for her father.
Royal author Katie Nicholl explained: “When her father looked as though he might falter on their journey to the Abbey, Kate had begged, ‘Please, Daddy, don’t cry. It will set me off, too.’
“She had managed only a bite of toast that morning and had been up since six, but Kate did not once let her emotion get the better of her."
Prince Harry's warning
As Kate was on her way, Will was waiting at Westminster Abbey with Prince Harry, who was his best man.
As the bride walked down the aisle, Will stuck to tradition and faced forwards.
But Harry was on hand to let his brother know how beautiful Kate looked.
According to the 2013 book Kate: A Biography, Harry told William: "Right, she is here now."
He then said of his sister-in-law: "Well, she looks beautiful, I can tell you that.”
When Kate arrived at the altar, Will clearly agreed with Harry on this point, telling Kate: "You look beautiful".
Queen's verdict
Looking on as Will and Kate tied the knot were Will's grandparents the Queen and her husband the Duke of Edinburgh.
The day went perfectly, with the Queen turning to her husband and saying that "it was excellent", according to a lip reader.
But there were some parts of the day that the Queen felt could have been done differently.
"I wanted them to take the smaller carriage," she said, according to CBS News, before Camilla said: "It all went very well."
The Queen replied: "Very well."
William leaves the handbrake on
The newlyweds drove down the Mall together in Prince Charle's Aston Martin.
Unfortunately, nerves may have gotten the better of William, as he did not take off the handbrake before setting off.
The brake was subsequently on for the whole journey to from Buckingham Palace to Clarence House.
Prince Harry's speech
At the reception following the ceremony, best man Harry took on the responsibility of entertaining guests with a speech about the happy couple.
Although best man speeches can sometimes be a little close to the bone, Harry's girlfriend at the time Chelsy Davy was reportedly on hand to make him cut a line in his speech about Kate’s “killer legs”.
Donning a fez, Harry said that William didn’t have “a romantic bone in his body” until he met Kate - and did an impression of him calling her “Babykins”.
The speech went down well, leaving Kate in tears.
An unusual cake
Not content with just one traditional wedding cake, William also requested a second cake for the reception.
This was his favourite, a chocolate biscuit cake.
William specially requested the unbaked cake, which came alongside a traditional tiered fruit cake made by luxury baker Fiona Cairns.
The biscuit cake was made by McVitie’s, adhering to a secret royal recipe.
The ingredients included 1,700 crushed Rich Tea biscuits and almost 40lb of dark chocolate.
The Reception
For the evening function, Kate donned a second Alexander McQueen dress.
The evening function was hosted by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace, where the happy couple danced together to the Grease classic You're the One That I Want.
“Everyone was cheering wildly,” said one guest.
The first dance to Ellie Goulding’s rendition of Elton John’s Your Song lasted 30 seconds after William reportedly asked her to change to a faster number.
