New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday assured traders that it will act to compensate their losses if the NDMC order shutting down Central Park at Connaught Place over the proposed protest by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is found to be disproportionate.
The observations were made by a bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi while declining an urgent hearing on a plea against the NDMC order shutting down Central Park.
