More than 20,000 employees at high street chain Wilko have been told they should attend work, even if they test positive for coronavirus, a Mirror investigation can reveal.
Shop and warehouse employees at the home retailer have been issued a memo stating that they should be present in stores if they contract the virus but have no symptoms.
The policy means if they do not attend work because they do not want to risk spreading the virus to staff and customers, they will not get paid.
