Bargain hunters will be out in force for Black Friday sales but one Wilko shopper's deal will be hard to beat. In fact, the lucky in-store shopper was so impressed with their find that they completely cleared the shelves, and at 5p per item it is easy to see why they were so impressed.
A woman was drawn into buying packets of seeds in her local Wilko. Originally marked up with prices as high as £1 each, the packets had been massively reduced and now had a price ticket of just 5p per packet. With such huge savings, the woman cleared the shelves, and rammed her trolley full of 533 packets of seeds, giving her a total spend of £26.65.
Posting about her find and her actions, the woman shared her bargain buy on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook, according to the Mirror. Alongside a picture of her bulging shopping bag, she wrote: "533 packets of seeds for £26.65! 5 pence a packet reduced at Wilko."
