Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto has been named in the 29-man Italy squad for their UEFA Nations League matches against England and Hungary over the next two weeks.
The 18-year-old is the youngest goalscorer in Azzurri history after he broke the 63-year-old record held by Bruno Nicole by scoring against Germany in a 5-2 loss in October 2021, and already has four caps for his country.
Gnonto could play against former Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips in the match against England, which is the first of the two scheduled for the Italians as it's set to kick-off on Friday, September 23 at 19:45.
