A wildfire has ripped through land near a retail park in Drumchapel.
Flames tore through grassland near the Great Western Retail Park at 3.47pm on Friday, April 22. Video from the scene shows the flames spreading as thick smoke billowed into the sky.
One fire engine was called to the incident while fire crews worked to successfully put out the flames.
There were no reported injuries, the Daily Record reports.
It comes as Scots were warned there would be an "extreme risk" of wildfires amid warm weather this weekend.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) issued a warning that fires could ignite and spread easily with a warm and strong winds forecast.
The warning - which covers the north, central and west of Scotland - will apply until Sunday, with an 'extreme' warning also in place for the west of Scotland on Monday.
Group Commander Keith Langley, SFRS Wildfire Tactical Advisor, said: "The key issues over the next few days are sunshine, warm air temperatures, low humidity and moderate to strong winds.
“Dead grass, leaves, twigs and heather on the ground will dry quite quickly in these conditions and when ignited can burn very fast with extreme fire intensity.
"Please exercise caution outdoors to avoid fires breaking out and think twice before using anything involving a naked flame."
A spokesperson for SFRS added: “We were alerted at 3.47pm on Friday, April 22, to reports of grass on fire in Clydebank.
“Operations Control mobilised one appliance, and firefighters extinguished an area of grass.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe."
