The Perth Wildcats' search for an import guard is over after former NBA veteran Brandon Knight agreed a one-season deal with the NBL championship contenders.

Knight will bring a wealth of experience to the Wildcats' back-court after more than 10 years in the world's premier competition.

The 34-year-old American was drafted at No.8 overall by the Detroit Pistons in 2011 and played with seven NBA teams while hampered by a series of injuries.
