Wild Youth’s Conor O’Donohoe has revealed he works out every day, visits a vocal doctor and will ditch the booze in a bid for Eurovision glory.
The group will represent Ireland in the first semi-final of the song contest in Liverpool on May 9 with their tune We Are One. Lead singer Conor revealed to the Irish Mirror that he will be doing everything he can to make sure he gives a solid performance on the global stage.
He said: “Eurovision preparation is well and truly under way. “I think the only thing we can control is what we can control.

"What I mean by that is all we can do is stay fit, stay healthy, stay on top of everything, keep my vocals rested, make sure we’re prepared, make sure everything is set up. We don’t leave any stone unturned in making sure we deliver the best possible performance that we believe that we can deliver, and we believe that is the most important thing.
"Once we do that, everything else is out of our hands. It’s all being taken very seriously.”
Conor said flying the flag for Ireland has always been a huge goal of his, adding: “I played some sports when I was younger, and I never represented my country in anything.
“That’s always been a huge goal of mine to represent my country in something.”
