This is a game Wil Lutz probably won’t want to replay even though he kicked the game-winning field goal as time expired on Monday.
The Denver Broncos downed the Buffalo Bills, 24-22, as Lutz was true on his second attempt in the final seconds.
Second attempt? Yes, because Lutz missed the first kick but the Bills were flagged for having 12 men on the field on special teams.

Flags were part of the final Broncos drive as Buffalo’s Taron Johnson was hit with a 28-yard pass interference call earlier in the drive.
In addition to missing the field goal that didn’t count, Lutz hit a goalpost on a PAT and never had a chance on another extra point when holder Riley Dixon muffed the snap.
In the end, special teams delivered for the Broncos, who have won three in a row after a disastrous start to 2023.
