Widow Of Rally Shooting Victim Shares Husband's Last Words

Former U.S. President Donald Trump departs Trump Tower in New York

The widow of Corey Comperatore, a victim of the recent rally shooting incident, bravely shared the heartbreaking final moments she spent with her husband. In an interview with the New York Post, Helen Comperatore recounted how Corey shielded his family from the bullets, uttering a simple yet heroic command to 'get down' before tragically losing his life.

The Comperatore family had attended the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, to show their support for former President Donald Trump. Helen described Corey as her hero and revealed that they were childhood sweethearts who were on the brink of celebrating their 29th wedding anniversary.

Despite the devastating turn of events, Helen emphasized that she does not harbor any resentment towards President Joe Biden. She declined a call from the President, citing Corey's strong Republican beliefs. However, she made it clear that she does not blame Biden for the tragedy that befell her family.

'I don't have any ill will towards Joe Biden,' Helen expressed. 'He didn't do anything to my husband. A 20-year-old despicable kid did.' She maintained that she is not deeply involved in politics but stands by her support for Trump.

Notably, the family has not received any communication from former President Trump following the incident. Helen's poignant account sheds light on the profound loss her family has endured and the resilience they exhibit in the face of tragedy.
