- Green Party leader Zack Polanski has faced renewed criticism over controversial remarks made in 2013 to The Sun newspaper, where he suggested hypnotherapy could increase breast size.
- In a 2019 blog post, Polanski, a former hypnotherapist, apologised for misleading people and stated he received numerous emails from both women and men inquiring about using his techniques for body part enlargement.
- Polanski claimed in the 2019 post that he was not misrepresented by the journalist, but felt the article did not adequately focus on body image and comfort, a 'lesson learned' for him.
- During a 2024 LBC interview, Polanski apologised again for the original article, stating he did not believe hypnosis could enlarge breasts and that he had also apologised immediately 11 years prior.
- However, a resurfaced BBC Radio Humberside interview from June 2013, just days after the initial report, shows Polanski appearing to double down on his theory, mentioning 'anecdotal evidence' of breast size growth and a 'successful project' with the journalist.
