Per the Yankees’ broadcast on YES, he wore a necklace with his grandmother’s tooth on it. Why? Because his mom told him to, and he does whatever his mother tells him to do.
Is it to bring him good luck? To break a streak? To honor her in some way? We don’t know those answers (yet).
