West Ham United will reportedly have to pay a fee of £1million to Hull City’s former owners Assem and Ehab Allam if Jarrod Bowen wins one more England cap.
The Hammers signed Bowen from Hull City for an initial fee of £14m in January 2020, a deal that also had a number of potential future add-ons.
One of those, as reported by The Athletic, means that the Hammers are obliged to pay a fee of £1m, if Bowen made five appearances for the Three Lions.

Bowen is in Gareth Southgate’s England squad to take on Italy and Germany this month, with Southgate’s side concluding their UEFA Nations League campaign with matches on Friday and next Monday.
In The Athletic’s report, it is claimed that as part of the Allams’ £20m sale of the Tigers to Turkish businessman Acun Ilicali, the Allams would inherit any future add-ons received for players sold in their time, including Bowen. Therefore, the Allams are set to be entitled to a £1m fee if Bowen plays again for England.
Despite a poor start to the season in the Premier League, Bowen is in England’s 28-man squad to play against Italy and Germany this month. The former Hull and Hereford winger made his first England appearances back in June, playing in all four of their games last month.
