The ACT wants to entice an extra 2500 visitors a year from the UK and Europe by 2030 in an effort to boost visitor spending by $8 million a year and provide more reasons for airlines to fly to the capital.

About 10 per cent of the international visitors to Canberra in the past financial year came from the United Kingdom and about 13 per cent came from Europe.
