In the pre-internet era we believed that the lack of access to information lead to poor decision taking, then why hasn't the age of the internet with all knowledge at your fingertips made society collectively more intelligent?
We all are exposed to the so called “WhatsApp university” with so many “educational” forwards that some say that over 80% of information is fake or unreliable. With this backdrop, we have cancer patients, anxious and hoping for miracles, googling their way through. Totally understandable! I would too if the boot was on the other foot.
