George Russell has insisted he will not sign his new Mercedes Formula 1 contract over the current summer break as the Briton is keen not to rush proceedings.

The 27-year-old’s deal expires at the end of the 2025 season and has been a major talking point in recent weeks as Red Bull’s Max Verstappen was touted for a move to Mercedes.
