Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman has said that prosecutors will not seek the death penalty against Nick Reiner, who is accused of killing his parents, filmmaker Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, in December 2025.
Hochman said the decision followed a rigorous review of aggravating and mitigating factors, as well as discussions with the Reiner family, prosecutors and law enforcement.
