The Boston Celtics are looking increasingly likely to end up having to face the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the 2022 NBA Playoffs with the Nets set to play a banged-up Cleveland Cavaliers for the seven – eight play-in game Tuesday evening.
Is this a potential disaster in the making, or a low-key boon to Boston? The host of the “Locked On Celtics” podcast John Karalis and guest Tom Westerholm of Boston.com made the case for an early collision with Brooklyn in the postseason.
Check the clip linked above to hear their takes on why an early meeting with the Nets is exactly what the Celtics should want.
