Why Novak Djokovic has pulled out of the Miami Open

Novak Djokovic Miami Open

Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the upcoming Miami Open due to a right shoulder injury.
His withdrawal means he will miss the second half of the Sunshine Double after his recent loss to Jack Draper at Indian Wells.
As a result of not defending his ranking points from last year's final, Djokovic is expected to fall out of the world's top three.
Germany's Alexander Zverev is in a strong position to overtake him in the rankings after reaching the semi-finals at Indian Wells.
Djokovic, who has won the Miami Masters 1000 event six times, is now likely to next compete at the Monte-Carlo Masters in early April.
