Jadon Sancho is taking a break from social media to focus on his football after a mixed start to the season for Manchester United. The English forward made headlines over the weekend when supporters noticed he had wiped posts from across his social media platforms and removed his profile picture.
The Manchester Evening News understands this is simply because Sancho wants to take a break from social media, with sources close to the player insisting there is nothing more behind the actions and that he is focused on trying to improve his fortunes on the pitch.
It is understood that Sancho wants to use the World Cup break as an opportunity to focus on his family life before turning his attention to the next stage of the Premier League season with United and regaining a starring role in Erik ten Hag's side.
