Why Manchester United Casemiro will not miss Carabao Cup final against Newcastle despite red card

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro will be able to play against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup Final despite being shown a red card against Crystal Palace. The Red Devils midfielder was sent off after VAR told referee Andre Marriner to consult the monitor.

The Brazilian put his hands around the throat of Eagles' midfielder Will Hughes during an altercation between both sets of players. Fortunately for Erik ten Hag and his side, he'll not miss the clash with Eddie Howe's men.

The two sides will go head-to-head at Wembley on February 26 for a chance to win some silverware. The Red Devils have three domestic games, two against Leeds United and one against Leicester City, in that time period to allow Casemiro to serve his suspension.
