Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said that he was "really impressed" with his team’s performance against Nottingham Forest after a "demanding" game against Arsenal just three days before.
Forest were able to hold City to a 1-1 draw at the City Ground last week, with Chris Wood getting the equalising goal just six minutes from time. The reigning Premier League Champions had taken the lead through Bernardo Silva in the first half.
The two dropped points against the Reds, coupled with Arsenal’s win over Aston Villa meant that Mikel Arteta’s retook their place at the top of the Premier League last weekend, after Man City had come out as 3-1 winners over the Gunners just days earlier. But despite the result, Guardiola was happy with his side’s performance, especially considering the gruelling schedule for his players.

"We played West Ham and then after just three days, went to Arsenal, after three days we go to Nottingham Forest,” he said in his press conference ahead of the Premier League clash against Bournemouth. “I was really impressed against Forest because it was demanding against Arsenal; then we went to Leipzig and played another demanding game.
"Our fatigue is there but we have to find energy from somewhere."
City take on the Cherries at the Vitality Stadium in Saturday’s 5.30pm kick off. A win for either side could have an impact at both the bottom and top end of the Premier League table.
Bournemouth are currently in 17th place in the table, one point clear of the relegation positions and four points adrift of Forest in 13th place.
