Liverpool welcome Fulham to Anfield on Wednesday evening as they look to end the campaign on a high.
The Reds have endured a rotten campaign so far under Jurgen Klopp. Sunday’s dramatic win over Spurs has left them fifth albeit with Champions League football looking out of reach.
Despite the inconsistent form that Liverpool have been in this season, they could make it five consecutive Premier League wins if they overcome Fulham - the first time that they will have achieved that in well over a year. Fans then will be keen to tune into Wednesday’s clash should they not be able to get to Anfield.
Supporters might be left disappointed after learning that the game will not be broadcast live on TV in the UK. The game kicks off at 8pm BST on Wednesday evening, usually a slot reserved for televised games.
There is a good reason for its lack of broadcast though. The game was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday, March 18 with a 3pm kickoff - during the customary 3pm blackout.
However, due to Fulham still being involved in the FA Cup quarter-finals, the original clash had to be moved. Due to that reason, the game now cannot be added to the broadcast schedule with the rule still applying despite its change of time.

It is not the first time that Liverpool supporters have been hampered by the broadcasting rules. The Reds were due to take on Wolves at the end of February but that game too had to be moved due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The game was moved to a midweek evening slot after originally being scheduled for Saturday 3pm kick-off. Once again, broadcasting rules in the UK prevented it from being shown on TV.
Liverpool’s various rescheduling mean they have a further five matches to navigate between now and the end of the season. After the showdown with Fulham, the Reds take on Brentford, Leicester, Aston Villa before concluding their campaign against relegation-threatened Southampton.
Ahead of the clash with Marco Silva’s side, Klopp opened up on the fitness of his squad - as well as the hamstring injury he picked up celebrating Diogo Jota’s winner against Spurs at the weekend.
He said: "No scan [for me]. Six weeks if I was a player! Bobby [Firmino] is training, not ready for the game. Pretty much the same for Naby [Keita]."
A win against Fulham on Wednesday would see Liverpool cut the gap to rivals Man United to just four points - albeit having played two games more than Erik ten Hag’s side. Their next clash against Brentford on Saturday will be live on TV with a 5:30pm kick-off time.
