Lee Mack is one of the UK's most recognisable comedians and presenters.
Born and bred in Southport, the comedian, whose real name is Lee Gordon McKillop, first appeared on our screens in the early 2000s and his career has since gone from strength to strength. He is probably most well-known for being a team captain on the BBC comedy panel show Would I Lie To You?, which fellow comedy star David Mitchell also appears on.
The two have become friends over the years, and will even tour the UK together next month, along with WILTY host Rob Brydon. The shows are billed as "chat, comedy and general messing about" at selected theatres.

During an episode of WILTY in 2016, Lee revealed he made a decision to shave his beard - and it was all down to his friend David. The comic said: "I once shaved a beard I'd been growing for weeks because I didn't want David to think I was copying him."
David asked: "What was it that alerted to you to the fact that I had grown a beard?" Lee replied: "I looked at you, and you had a beard. Are you alright? Are you having a breakdown?"
Lee explained he'd invited David and Rob to his house for dinner and made a joke to his wife Tara that David might think he had copied his beard. He then decided to shave the beard, just in case.
David's team guessed the anecdote was true, and they were right. Lee said: "I'm all heart, David. I'm all heart."
