Mercedes Formula 1 boss Toto Wolff has labelled his drivers Kimi Antonelli and George Russell as “two test pilots” as they run different car specifications at this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix.

The Silver Arrows has been the dominant team of 2026 by winning 11 of 16 grands prix, but its authority was challenged by Red Bull at Sepang last time out as Max Verstappen won from pole.
