Why Ishan Kishan opted out of South Africa Test series

NEW DELHI: Last Sunday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had said in a release that wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan will miss the two-Test series against South Africa, starting December 26.

Kishan had requested to be released citing 'personal reasons' and the board subsequently acknowledged his request.
