Zachery Ty Bryan, the 44-year-old actor best known for his role on Home Improvement, has been sentenced to 16 months in county jail following his February 2024 arrest on DUI charges in La Quinta, California. The sentencing took place on 23 February 2026, after Bryan pleaded guilty to a felony DUI charge and admitted an enhancement related to two prior DUI convictions. Probation was denied, and with 57 days of jail credit, he is expected to serve over 14 months behind bars.

The plea deal and sentence mark Bryan's sixth arrest in the past five years, drawing renewed attention to the actor's long history of legal troubles.
