YouTuber MrBeast is reportedly in a legal fight with Toronto-based production company MHQ over his reality show Beast Games. According to a report by Toronto Life published on April 24, 2026, MrBeast’s company, MRB2024, LLC, has filed a lawsuit to recover $5 million that was paid to MHQ during the early planning stage of the show.

The money was reportedly sent in May 2024 as an advance for production services when the team was preparing to film the first season of Beast Games in Toronto. But after plans suddenly changed and the working relationship broke down, MrBeast’s company claimed MHQ did not complete the work and should return the money. MHQ strongly denied that and said it had already done major work for the project.
