Fair City bosses revealed there will be two less episodes this week due to a schedule change.
After a dramatic few weeks in the Dublin-based soap, fans will have to wait patiently for their next fix as RTE makes room for the football tonight.
The Carrigstown characters have been pushed aside on account of the Champions League Semi-final 2nd-Leg on Tuesday May 3rd and Wednesday May 4th .

The popular programme, which usually airs on RTÉ One every Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, will return with four episodes next week, and will air as normal again on Thursday this week.
The episode will see Doug continue to lap up the praise after coming to Hughie’s aid, whilst Dolores and Pete give him some parenting advice.
But Doug's trypanophobia has caused a stir on the Carrigstown WhatsApp group and Erica tells Pete to shut down gossip about it.
Elsewhere, Dearbhla thanks Cian for standing up for her against Joan but is uneasy that he has to choose sides.
She asks Tommy for advice whilst Cian asks Joan to give Dearbhla another chance.
However, Joan offers Dearbhla a blank cheque to walk away from Cian and tries to convince her that taking the money is best for everyone.
When Dearbhla tells Cian about the financial incentive to end the relationship, Joan claims her offer was a way of testing Dearbhla’s motives.
Meanwhile, across the street Anto assures Carol he knows his limits when it comes to betting.
But when he learns that Carol has put limitations on his betting at the bookie’s, he confronts her.
Carol tells Anto he’s a gambling addict and Hayley picks up on the tension.
