I’m on the road to one million beers, though I’m not alone. As it stands, there are almost 600 members in a new Whatsapp group, one with a proud ideal: to collectively drink one million beers.
The rules are simple: every time a member of the group drinks a pint, the pint — either as a number or a picture or both — should be added to chat. It must be beer, cider isn’t allowed (unless coeliac), nor any other beverage bar ginger ale (for reasons not explained). A member added a glass of milk the other day and was removed. Zero alcohol booze is “frowned upon” but accepted. I suppose January will see a rise in its usage.
